"Making art has been a lifelong constant, but sharing it with the world is a thrilling new chapter. Based in Ogallala, Nebraska, Marie Prilika creates visual art that thrives on contrast. On one side of the studio, hours of meticulous focus go into painting vibrant, neurographic abstract acrylics that evoke the feel of stained glass and ancient artifacts. On the other, the utilization of natural light photography to capture the moody, striking essence of a wide variety of subjects. Using only available light, they create high-contrast, evocative images that find untamed beauty wherever the lens focuses. Ultimately, Marie’s work is a celebration of both raw energy and deliberate, intricate design."
